AmuSing Online
Ages: 0 - 6 years old
Music has very positive effects on children's development. In our online classes for babies and toddlers we use singing, music instruments playing, music games and movement that support cognitive, language and motor skills. All these are provided with a special emphasis on entertainment.
The 30-minute weekly online classes give you and your child the opportunity to play music together and enjoy the process in a familiar and comfortable environment. These meetings provide an attractive introduction to music and offer quality time for children and parents in the comfort of their own home.
Our Classes
At AmuSing, special emphasis is placed on unconscious learning through a lot of fun activities. Your child will definitely enjoy the songs with props, beating on drums, taping the claves and shaking the maracas with the rest of the group. You and your child will learn songs that you can use and enjoy outside of the classroom.
Join through Zoom
Our online classes are made through Zoom, which you can use for free either through its website or if you download the application. You will be sent an email with the link of the class you will be attending, along with a list of items you will need. If you do not have musical instruments, we will suggest some household items as an alternative, that you can have with you. We recommend that you use your computer, TV or large tablet and not your phone so that your child can watch comfortably. In addition, it is good to have enough space to be able to move for the different activities.
The instructor will turn off the participants' microphones for the duration of the lesson so that you can hear exactly what is happening without losing sound quality. When is needed to have a conversation with the instructor, the microphone of the specific person will be unmuted.

Through AmuSing we give your children access to these benefits while having fun at home.
Security information
We understand the need of everyone to ensure your safety during online courses and that is why our classes have a security code and we also use the waiting room system, which means that only the host can handle it and approve the entry of new members into the group. In addition, when all members of the group are connected, the online meeting is locked and no one else can request to connect. You can choose whether you want to be on camera or not by turning the camera on or off. Meetings will not be recorded or photographed unless you are asked for permission.
Educator
The lessons are taught by Maria Demosthenous, creator of the AmuSing program. Maria Demosthenous, director of the Amused School, holds a Master's Degree in Music Studies, a Piano Diploma and has been specialized in music pedagogy through seminars by leading music educators around the world. The whole method is based on the music pedagogical approaches of the famous music educators Carl Orff and Zoltan Kodaly.
