Registrations for September
Registrations for this year have some slight differences since our school has adjusted to the measures for covid19.
Adjusting to the new measures we are decreasing the number of participants in each group from 6 to 4 children in the classes where parents join and 6 kids in the classes where kids are unaccompanied.
Further, we would like to inform you that, as it concerns instruments lessons, all the students use only their personal instruments except the piano students. The piano will be disinfected before and after each lesson.
A new system has also been adopted in early childhood groups. All the instruments will be disinfected before and after every class. We will use plastic boxes to store the instruments that can be easily cleaned and disinfected. As it concerns the other props that we use, like scarves, animal puppets etc, that cannot be easily disinfected, unless they are washed, we will provide the opportunity to the parents to buy a set of props or a set of props and instruments that they can bring and use in the classroom. We will give more details about materials and prices soon. In case that parents do not want to buy the props for personal use we will provide our props that will be washed after each session.
Further, we have adjust the schedule in such a way that all the classes have 15 minutes in between. This will ensure that both adults and children will not meet in the same room with other people apart from those in the same group.
More details about measures that are taken in the school will be given at the beginning of the school year, when we will have full update from the government for September.
We are happy to announce that during lock-down Maria was working really hard to design a new music program for our little ones and she has managed to create a new program named, AmuSing. It is designed in two different languages English (AmuSing) and Greek (AmuSing Greek) and is available for children aged 0 - 4 years old. All the other music groups, for ages 4 - 7 years old, are designed in a multicultural way and children learn music through songs in many languages. Mainly we use songs that are in English and Greek language but we have some additions from world music like Spanish, Arabic, African and others.
The English program helps children to get acquainted with the English language while earning all the benefits of music education. We keep many characteristics from our previous program but we have enriched the program with many new songs, new activities and of course some new instruments.
The Greek program is designed with all the songs in Greek language and uses a big variety of traditional kids Greek songs through which the cultural learning is enhanced. Further, it gives the opportunity to children to improve their language skills. The form of the Greek program differs a lot from the previous since the AmuSing Greek is more Greek oriented and not just a translation of the English program.

Ways for fees payment
Our school has started a new collaboration with Bill Me company. Those who register in our school will be sent an email from BillMe app that will lead them to a website to confirm their registration in the app. Through BillMe app, you will be able to check the status of the fees and also be notified when the new fees are due. You can pay your monthly fees in a safe way using your card details. Of course, our school always gives the option of fees payment through QuickPay or Revolut apps. You can still use these apps but we encourage you all to register in BillMe so you can keep track of your fees paid and be notified when the new fees are due.
We all know how busy our lives are and having an automatic reminder really helps us to remove some extra thoughts from our minds. Through this app you will not need to keep your receipts, or worry if you have paid or not. BillMe can remind you and also can keep the record of all your payments, with no extra cost.
Policy for absences and remakes of lessons:
In private lessons:
Classes missed by the student will not be substitute. Transfers of lessons to other days than the first one chosen will not be available. Classes that might be cancelled by the teachers will be replaced during Christmas or Easter break or in July.
In group sessions:
Classes missed by the students can be substitute in a month's time in other groups and only if there is availability. Classes cancelled by the teacher will be substitute during Christmas or Easter break or in July.
Our team makes greate efforts every year to provide a class schedule that meets everyone's needs. As it concerns the group classes, this is the final program and no further changes can be made, since in the school we run many music classes that need a lot of planning.
The policy about cancellation of classes will run strictly this year since all our teachers plan their lessons in such a way to offer the best quality music education to you and your children. Please have in mind that the effort of rescheduling classes is really energy consuming. We always do our best to provide the best music education to you and keeping a certain schedule and routine among all our teachers is really important for the quality of their classes.
